Position Description

Food processor seeks candidates for Full Time position responsible:
-Inspects, operates and tests machinery in order to diagnose system functioning (malfunctioning).
-Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines solutions, checking blueprints, manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
-Uses hand and power tools common to the trades in order to repair or disassemble current equipment and/or install new equipment.
-Fabricates fixtures and/or materials necessary for the repair or installation of equipment.
-Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines run reliably and efficiently.
-Reviews work in progress, checks/inspects as necessary to ensure conformance with Company and industry specifications.

High school diploma or GED, 3-5 years’ experience, food industry preferred.
